Shell shape tea cup variation A has a shell border moulding only as on the Mayflower but without the raised florets or the raised spiral motif. The cups are decorated on the outside and are straight-lipped with an external moulding. The cups have the same slender crabstock handle as the Mayflower, C-Scroll and C-Scroll plain shape cups.
